Bareilly: A massive Tiranga Bike Rally was organised in Bareilly on Thursday under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, with government officials, employees and former village heads and administrators from across the district participating enthusiastically.
Carrying the national flag, participants spread the message of patriotism, national unity and integrity during the rally. The event was jointly inaugurated in the evening by Additional Director General of Police Ramit Sharma and Divisional Commissioner Shambhu Kumar at the Development Bhawan premises by releasing balloons into the air.
The rally began from Development Bhawan and passed through Shyamganj Overbridge, Delapir Damru Chauraha, IVRI, Izzatnagar Railway Station Overbridge, Kudeshia Phatak Overbridge, Dharmkanta Chauraha and Premnagar Police Station before concluding at C.I. Park.
The concluding programme was held near the statue of freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad at C.I. Park. As part of Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, participants observed a two-minute silence in memory of those who lost their lives during the Partition and remembered the struggle, suffering and sacrifices of families affected by displacement.
The rally created a strong atmosphere of patriotism along the route. Motorcycle riders carrying the Tricolour raised slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and other patriotic slogans, encouraging citizens to respect the national flag and uphold the country’s unity and integrity.
Officials, employees and former village heads and administrators also appealed to people to take the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to every household and actively participate in national celebrations and programmes held in the national interest.
The district administration urged residents to participate enthusiastically in Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 by hoisting the national flag at their homes and strengthening the spirit of respect for the Tricolour and patriotism.
District Magistrate Avinash Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya, Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Maurya, Chief Development Officer Devyani, Superintendent of Police (City) Manush Parikh, Superintendent of Police (South) Anshika Verma, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Santosh Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, other senior officials, village heads and members of the public participated in the rally.
